FLOWERS HOSPITAL

FLOWERS HOSPITAL

Flowers Hospital is a 235-bed healthcare facility offering inpatient, outpatient, medical, surgical, diagnostic and emergency care for the Dothan community.
The project consisted of the evaluation of the entire building envelope to identify points of air and water infiltration. The existing building was comprised primarily of an exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) over the original masonry veneer system. Curtainwall and storefront systems were also assessed. Solutions were prepared and detailed to repair expansion joints, control joints, damaged EIFS and deteriorated aluminum storefront gasketing. A full EIFS restoration finish was applied to the existing EIFS to extend its life and to provide a fresh new look for the facility.
