The Revitalization of Floyd Memorial Hospital included an expansion and renovation that spun the main entrance into the hospital 180 degrees from its original location.
The Facility Expansion and Renovation included a new emergency department, laboratory, an expanded surgery suite, cardiac catheterization labs, a patient bed tower, an intensive care unit, and a new main entry/lobby space.
The Design Team, which included LMH and Indianapolis-based, Artekna, worked with the owner to create an exterior that expressed the hospital's dedication to providing state of the art healthcare, while maintaining an interior that is warm and inviting to patients and their families.
Since the Initial Addition, LMH and FMH have maintained a great working relation­ship to put together shell space build-outs, renovations and other various additions.
